Dear Friends and Supporters:

Recently, I preached for Pastor Todd Morrissey at the Parkview Baptist Church in Melrose Park, IL, where a man and his young son introduced themselves to me. The father told me that his son had such a great time at Mt. Salem Revival Grounds that he continually asks when it is time to go back to camp. The father says that his son tells him he had "awesome counselors" and "the preaching was great". He constantly reminds his parents of all the things he did at summer camp! His father said it was truly priceless to see Mt. Salem Revival Grounds through his child’s eyes. Our staff is planning another great summer for campers. I want parents to know that their child is in for a great week of camp. I trust that you, your family, and your church will make plans to attend one of the organized camp weeks by phoning our office at 304-873-2315 to reserve your spot.

OUR NEED FOR REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT – The camp kitchen must upgrade some of the refrigeration equipment. The equipment has been repaired numerous times, which has caused us to look for newer equipment rather than to continue repairing the older ones. We need a commercial two glass door and a four glass door refrigerator. If you know of any equipment for sale or possibly someone who would like to donate one or more, please contact our office.

A SPECIAL THANKS TO THE WORKERS OF NEHEMIAH WORK Week I - Many men from different parts of the country came to help us during Work Week I. The following pastors brought workers with them: Pastor Bill Howe of Haltom City, TX, Pastor Ed Woods of Waynesburg, PA, and Pastor Shaun Borner of Wheeling, WV. Other workers in attendance were: the Dan Munson family from Saginaw, MI, Evangelist Larry Gibbs and Pastor Marlin Fleck, both from Chambersburg, PA. Here is a list of the projects that were completed during Work Week I: new covered porches were installed on the Hallelujah Gift Shop and on all the girls’ dormitories, commercial doors were installed at our Christian school, an older shower house was re-shingled, four old cabins above the tabernacle were torn down because they were unusable, many large trees were removed, dozer work was completed to enlarge the ball field and excavation work was done for the site of the new equipment building, a new clutch was put in the camp truck, and other vehicles were repaired as well. Presently, Preston Judd and Butch Caldwell are constructing a new log building for the Joe Boyd Foundation office.

As I close this letter, I want you to know that we are making things at Mt. Salem brighter, better, and more beautiful for your stay here with us. Come experience revival time and summer activities at Mt. Salem Revival Grounds!

I hope to hear from you soon!

Because He lives,

Dr. Randy Taylor

President
